Ocean intelligence company, OSHEN, based out of Turnchapel Wharf have been featured in an article in The Times.
From living on a 25ft sailboat to building autonomous, solar-powered sea drones, the young founders of Plymouth-based Oshen have raised $5m to triple their ocean fleet.
Their 1m vessels are already braving Category 5 hurricanes for US forecasters and scanning seabed depths to protect critical undersea infrastructure.
Now, backed by major deeptech investors, the UK start-up is expanding its fleet to help the Royal Navy track Russian submarines across the North Atlantic.
